An interesting view of the garden for the parsonage, or church house, near one of Vincent's favorite subjects to paint in Nuenen, the over 700 year old dilapidated church building seen in the distance. For an interesting story about the tower and Vincent's use of it as a subject see the listing for The Old Church Tower at Nuenen (F 88, JH 490).
