One of those less noticed and rarely mentioned pieces that has scant to zero mention in Vincent's letters to Theo. Luckily the painting has an excellent provenance all the way back to the Oldenzeel Art Gallery in Rotterdam that Theo's widow Johanna van Gogh-Bonger had dealings with. Look carefully and you can see two figures in the painting near the bottom center.
